Probably because I played Warcraft 3 and World of Warcraft, and the game's lore has nearly endless potential for at least ten stand-alone movies. To be fair, nobody wants to see a movie about the modern developments in WoW, since they lack the depth of earlier plot lines (especially the Shadowlands expansion was just a big disappointment).

The legendary Doomhammer turned out to be a traitor to his best friend and fell in line behind Gul'dan. He also barely fought in the movie. The Alliance somehow figured out where the Dark Portal was even though it actually took them 2 full games (6 years). They instantly attack it with full force and get it shut down.
