   May 5, 2024 · Here is what I do to my clone GI pattern 1911's. There is a good bit more to it than just bobbing the grip safety to a bit more than the original 1911 spur grip safety. Blended properly its just this side of a good high hold beavertail grip safety. Pic of a stock Mil-Spec with areas worked also attached.
