Apr 26, 2024 · They're unique from each other, so not simply about what's better, unless about the graphics and maybe the music. Quake 1 has a more horror vibe to it, and the levels are more trap based, while Quake 2 is more sci fi and mainly the opposite to Q1.

I was pleasantly surprised how well Quake 1-2 plays on console and the enhancements that were made 4K 120fps texture work and the general QoL improvements.
