Jun 8, 2022 · a properly functioning water pump. higher flow is a waste. make sure all the hoses are installed correctly. a mr. gasket high flow 195* tsat. a stock fan and stock shroud are fine but if you must go electric, OEM contour fans with lmr mounting kit and a properly wired up fan controller.

Jun 15, 2014 · The fan needs to pull at least 3000 cfm. Derale 16826 has 4000 cfm. I had a 100A alternator which barely kept up at idle with a 16" and 13" Spal fan so I upgraded after I added two more fans to a 150A unit which did the trick. If you only have one fan then a 90A+ alternator should be fine.
