KC Positions for my job pay anywhere from 20% to 40% less than costal and major city counterparts. Again, rent is cheaper to offset that but it’s not that much cheaper. A 1 B/B is going to cost you $1000 a month. If you’re not splitting that with a roommate you’re absolutely losing money compared to another city.
