From the place you are go up until you will find orange biom with lots of light bulbs ( it is the center biom that is connected all other biomes) and then far left or far right (my bet) because ruins spawn away from cave enterance. U seek biome with lichen ( algy bushes ), monkeys or fluffy ball with glowing eyes. This biom is always next to ruins.
