The entire time Harry is in the Chamber during CoS is incredibly terrifying. In PoA we meet dementors, which might be the scariest creatures in the HP universe. In GoF, the whole scene in the graveyard was pretty nerve-wracking and frightening, and we witness the murder of a character first hand for the first time.
