The lyrics paint a picture of a passionate yet destructive relationship. It’s about a man who is as intoxicating as whiskey, but just like the drink, he leaves a burning sensation behind. In the first verse, Jana Kramer sings about the different names people call this man – “Texas” in Houston, “Cornbread” up North.
