  2. Whispering Smith is an American Western television series that originally aired on NBC. It has the same ultimate source material as the 1948 film of the same name (and some other films), but differs in some significant respects.

This show took case histories from Smith's adventures. George Romack was Smith's partner and John Richards was the police chief.
