Jul 23, 2012 · I admit, this is the first time i've watch the main actors/actresses, Chen Kun, Vicki Zhao(Zhao Wei) and Zhou Kun. But i've been fangirling Chen Kun a long time because he is just that. Story: I rated it 7 because it may seem a common plot but in the movie, it was justified, the way that the demon wanted to be a human was interpreted is good.
Painted Skin: The Resurrection manages to walk the line well in what a big budget fantasy sequel should be; it echoes the themes of the first film without retreading them, and ups the ante when it comes to wowing the audience. Bigger than the first film in every respect: sets, action and music all look like a ton of money was spent on them.
