Jan 3, 2023 · Ole Rolvaag was a wonderful Norwegian poet of an author. All his words cut into my spirit like sharp knives. He has something to say about Life, & his characters are wonderful. His life story in the intro is by itself, worth the price of the book. The subject is the Frontier Experience told in a way that few if any of us had ever considered.
