Wilfrid Laurier University is a public university in Ontario, Canada. Its roots trace back to 100 years ago, however it gained its name as the Wilfred Laurier University in 1973. The university was named after Sir Wilfrid Laurier, Canada’s seventh Prime Minister, who was known for his conciliation skills and promotion of individual liberty.
