Liddy was portrayed by two actors: American actor Robert Conrad played Liddy as an adult and child actor Danny Lloyd portrayed him in his youth.

Following that role, Lloyd did continue to audition for parts, but didn't meet with any real success, and he began to get bored of the routine.
