Biography. Eva was born in 1868. She grew up in Hemlock, Columbia County, Penna. She first married William Alonzo Fleming in Honston, Mo. in 1888. They moved to La Canada Flintridge, California, where their three children were born. After Mr. Fleming, a citrus farmer, died while watering his fruit, she moved in with her brother, also a farmer.
