Willis Alexander Ritchie (14 July 1864 – 17 January 1931), also known as W.A.Ritchie, was an architect whose career began in Ohio and Kansas, but reached maturity in Seattle and Spokane, Washington.
Willis Ritchie (1864-1931) Willis Ritchie was born in Ohio in 1864. In his youth, he apprenticed with a carpenter and contractor, and later took a correspondence course suggested by the U.S. Treasury Department head architect. In 1885, as his professional career became more established, Ritchie moved to Kansas.
