Wilson Cruz (born Wilson Echevarría; December 27, 1973) is an American actor known for playing Rickie Vasquez on My So-Called Life, [1] Dr. Hugh Culber on Star Trek: Discovery, [2] and the recurring character Junito on Noah's Arc. As a gay man of Afro-Puerto Rican ancestry, he has served as an advocate for gay youth, especially gay minorities.
Wilson Cruz is a Puerto Rican American actor, producer, and activist who has starred in TV shows such as Star Trek: Discovery, 13 Reasons Why, and My So-Called Life. He is also the executive producer of the docuseries Visible: Out on Television and the recipient of several awards and honors for his work and advocacy.
