Wolfson combines the traditions of a Cambridge University College with a dynamic and outward-facing view. Founded in 1965 as "University College", Wolfson was initially only for postgraduate students, and was located in a single house with just a dozen rooms and a long, narrow garden that ran from Selwyn Gardens to Barton Road.
Our College is for mature students who are actively engaged with the world. At Wolfson, you'll live, study, and socialise with mature students from around 100 different countries. We have no hierarchies: there's no high table, our social spaces are shared by everyone.
