Yad Vashem, Israel’s largest Holocaust memorial, sits on the slopes of the Mount of Remembrance on the edge of Jerusalem. The Yad Vashem Museum opened in 2005. Its nine chilling galleries of interactive historical displays present the Holocaust.
Four and a half of the six million Jews murdered by the Nazis and their accomplices are commemorated here. This database includes information regarding victims of the Shoah: those who were murdered and some whose fate has yet to be determined.
