Dec 29, 2019 · I love this movie, not because it’s a great movie, but because it brings together, Boris Karloff, Bela Legosi and Peter Lorre, rarely if ever seen together on screen. Also Kay Kyser is one of my favorite big bands, and Ish Kabibble is practically one of my patron saints.
Kay and his band are hired by heiress Janis Bellacrest to entertain at her twenty-first birthday party. They arrive at Bellacrest Manor, the gloomy country estate owned by Janis' late father, where they meet Aunt Margo, Janis' eccentric guardian.
