The opening sequence on the beach is amazing but it slowly heads downhill when the protagonist has a long running and salacious romance with his first love interest in America.

You Don’t Mess with the Zohan considers to be Dennis Dugan’s “best work” when he combines the awful slapstick humor elements and satire together in a way that would get you socially and politically. And yes, this film and Click are the only decent flicks that’s actually worth seeing Adam Sandler getting crazy.
Trivia. Zohan was loosely based on Nezi Arbib, a hairstylist and former Israeli soldier in Solana Beach, California. Arbib taught Adam Sandler and the film crew different hairstyling techniques, while Sandler learned Arbib's mannerisms.
