Dec 14, 2023 · Later that same year, Turk made his recording debut with a cameo on Juvenile's solo debut, “Solja Rags.” Turk was billed as Young Turk, and welcomed into the newly formed Hot Boys (which also included Juvenile, B.G., and Lil Wayne), issuing “Get It How U Live!” in 1997 and “Guerilla Warfare” two years later.
The album was a success on the charts, selling 82,000 copies in its first week, peaking at #9 on the Billboard 200 and #2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Among the guests featured on the album were his fellow Hot Boys, the Big Tymers and Mack 10 .
