    Zakes Mokae. Actor. 4 August 1934 to 10 September 2009. Making his name on stage in his native South Africa, Mokae got his break in British cinema with appearances in movies such as Darling (1965) and The Comedians (1967). Later roles came in such films as Cry Freedom (1987), A Dry White Season (1989) and A Rage In Harlem (1991).
