PDF Literary Theme Activities: In the first theme activity, students will watch 14 different animated movie clips and determine the theme of each clip. Many of these clips come from popular Disney and Pixar films. They will then cite evidence from each clip that proves the theme. In the second activity, students will watch 7 short films.
Short Story of the Month "The Tell-Tale Heart" by Edgar Allan Poe Teacher’s Guide Day 9 1. Activity 16: 50 minutes Students view a short film version of “The Tell-Tale Heart” and consider the extend to which the movie stays faithful to or departs from the short story version.
