He grew up outside of Boston but attended college in California, graduating from the University of Redlands with a degree in Storytelling. AB is trans masculine and tours all over the country as a stand up comedian. He is the child of filmmaker Bobby Farrelly.

The perfect person was closer than Farrelly imagined. His son A.B. Farrelly, an acclaimed actor and stand-up comedian, had coached kids with disabilities in high school as part of a program called Hoop Heroes.
