The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) informs that the 2018 edition of A Policy on Geometric Design of Highways and Streets (Green Book) is guidance only and the 2011 edition is still the adopted standard for NHS projects. The memorandum explains the project types, design flexibility, and interpretation of the 2018 Green Book.
