ABBA ( / ˈæbə / AB-ə, Swedish: [ˈâbːa], formerly named Björn & Benny, Agnetha & Frida) are a Swedish pop group formed in Stockholm in 1972 by Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad.
