Agnetha Åse Fältskog was born on April 5, 1950 in the town of Jönköping in Sweden. Music came to Agnetha early in life: at the age of six she wrote her first song, ’Två små troll’ (”Two Little Trolls”). Agnetha was 16 when she started singing in a dance band called Bernt Enghardts.
Agnetha & Frida: The Voice of ABBA is a compilation album of songs by singers Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad (Frida), members of the Swedish pop group ABBA, released in 1994. [1] [2] The compilation features a total of 14 tracks, seven from each singer.
The premiere in ABBA’s home country of Sweden in February 2005 was attended by Agnetha, Björn, Benny and Frida. A hugely successful movie version of Mamma Mia!, starring Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan, opened in July 2008. The Stockholm opening of the movie was attended by the four ABBA members.
