Feb 8, 2016 · The 5.3 & 6.0 ls swaps. I have seen a Cummins in a Vic and a v10 ford. My question is what engine in the Ford line up makes the most since to swap in. My vote goes to the terminator as its a 4.6 , it will fit under the hood, strong after market, multiple trans options , makes good power untouched. My second choice is the 32v out of the mach one.
Oct 20, 2004 · Has anyone swapped out a higher performance engine in a late model Crown Vic (i.e. Mustang or other crate engine)? If so, what are the pitfalls? Can the computer be reprogrammed as with OBDII Camaro, etc., or would I need a custom chip?
