Alex Frost as Alex, the more intelligent of the two killers, implied to be the one in charge. He is an accomplished but frustrated pianist and sketch artist. He and Eric kiss before the massacre, both citing the fact that they had never been kissed.

Alex is the main protagonist of the 2003 drama film Elephant, a fictionalized retelling of the 1999 Columbine High School massacre.
He was portrayed by Alex Frost, who also portrayed Terry Filkins in Drillbit Taylor.
Alex is a student at Watt High School. He is a typical “quiet boy” who is bullied very often. One day, he orders guns online, and once he receives them, he makes a plan with his friend Eric to bomb the school and shoot and kill all the survivors. He makes out with Eric in the shower, the first and only kiss either has ever had, and they head off to school to carry out their plan. As they enter the school, Alex warns the one classmate he can stand to leave, and then tells Eric to "have fun".
When they fail to detonate their bombs, they go with plan B, which is to simply shoot everyone in sight. They enter a library and gun down as many people as they can before moving on to the rest of the school and continuing their massacre. Alex and Eric meet in the cafeteria, and while Eric is in the middle of listing all the people he killed, Alex shoots him and finds two other students hiding in a freezer. He sadistically chooses which student to kill through a game of "eenie meenie miney mo", and the movie ends before we find out which person he kills.
Alex is a psychopath who takes sadistic pleasure in inflicting pain. While he claims to want to kill his classmates because they bully him, he really just wants to kill for the sake of killing, and to kill as many people as he can. He admires Adolf Hitler, and watches videos of Nazi rallies, and possibly both neo-Nazi and Ku Klux Klan videos.
Despite being a victim of bullies, Alex is a bully himself, dominating the less intelligent Eric; it is implied that the massacre was Alex's idea, and that he manipulated Eric into going along. It is also left ambiguous whether he makes out with Eric because he has genuine feelings for him, or simply to use sex as another means of controlling and dominating him.

The film stars Owen Wilson as the eponymous role, alongside Nate Hartley, Troy Gentile, David Dorfman (his final film role before his retirement), Alex Frost, Josh Peck and Leslie Mann in supporting roles. Drillbit Taylor was released by Paramount Pictures on March 21, 2008.
ALEX FROST plays a picked on student who decides to get his revenge on his tormentors and others by going on a shooting spree with Eric (with whom he briefly shares a shower and kiss). He uses strong profanity.
