- He's from a family of actors and doctors. His father is Swedish acting great Stellan Skarsgård, while his mother My Skarsgård is a physician. Alexander is the eldest of six siblings: his brothers Bill, Gustav, and Valter are all actors too; his sister Eija is a model; and his brother Sam is a doctor.
