In 2017, Alice founded the Alice L. Walton Foundation, which works to enhance the quality of life for individuals through providing access to offerings that improve well-being and create diverse and inclusive communities.
Pending this accreditation, the School of Medicine will prepare medical students for the unique challenges of the 21st century through an innovative four-year curriculum rooted in whole health principles.
Bentonville, Ark. (June 30, 2022) – Today, Alice L. Walton School of Medicine announces the next steps in its development, including a new name reflecting its founder’s commitment and plans for a state-of-the-art medical education facility to be built in Bentonville, Arkansas.
