We are sad to announce that Allen Shellenberger, drummer for Orange County rock band Lit, lost his battle with brain cancer on yesterday, Thursday 13 August, 2009 surrounded by his loving family, the band, and close friends. He was 39 years old.
Shellenberger's last show with the band was September 28, 2008 at Paramount Studios for Paramount Rocks. He died from the cancer on August 13, 2009, at the age of 39. On November 23, 2009, Lit played their first concert since Shellenberger's death.
