DEATH CERTIFICATES The Alpena County Clerk's Office only has death certificates for individuals who died in Alpena County. Death certificates are public record and can be obtained by anyone. You will need to provide the name on the death certificate, as well as the date of death. Death records may be ordered in person or through the mail.
