Eugene is pretty cool. I like Alton Baker Park, they have a scale model of the solar system. Pretty easy to see the inner planets but Pluto is like 9 miles away? It's been a while. Anyway something you don't see every day. Downtown Eugene is cute too and I'm sure there are good places to eat. From Eugene head northwest out of town to Junction City.
