Andrzej Sebastian Duda (Polish: ['andʐɛj ˈduda] ⓘ; born 16 May 1972) is a lawyer and politician who has served as President of Poland since 2015. Before becoming President, he served as Member of the Sejm (MP) from 2011 to 2014 and as Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 2014 to 2015.

In 2015 she came to further prominence by managing the successful presidential campaign of the theretofore little-known Andrzej Duda, who was elected in May. Early life and education. Duda was born on 16 May 1972 in Kraków, to Janina (Milewska) and Jan Tadeusz Duda, professors at the AGH University of Science and Technology. His grandfather fought in the Polish–Soviet War and later was a member of the Home Army during the Second World War.
