Angela Cartwright. Actress: The Sound of Music. Born in England, Angela is the younger sister of actress Veronica Cartwright. As a child she was cast as the cute little stepdaughter, Linda Williams, on The Danny Thomas Show (1953). She was on the show from 1957 to 1964.

Cartwright played the role of Brigitta von Trapp in The Sound of Music (1965). The film won five Academy Awards and eclipsed Gone with the Wind as the highest-grossing film of all-time. Cartwright played Penny Robinson in the TV series Lost in Space (1965–68).
