Apr 22, 2007 · In my Chart Navigator Pro, I show the tide turns to an ebb tide at Delaware city at 0622EST (back to flood 1329). I show the tide turns to ebb at the Delaware Bay entrance at 0400EST (back to flood at 1034). I'm thinking I have this reverse - leaving at 6am or so.
May 26, 2022 · Tides and Currents. Read the section on Tidal Currents. What you really need is a Tidal Current Table for your specific area so you know when slack water occurs.
Jan 15, 2011 · From Cape Henlopen catch the current up the DE Bay and you should be able to have a favorable tide up the Bay and through the C&D Canal and the northern Chesapeake. Depending on the time of day you can make Annapolis in a long day or make another stop somewhere like Worton Creek.

Apr 3, 2013 · You can run overnight from Annapolis to Norfolk (20hours) but with a new boat and volunteer crew, you'll spend 4-5 days to get from Norfolk to Oriental. From there, you have a series of 12-36 hour coastal jumps that you can manage and extend if the weather allows.
