Anyone can access the information you choose to give in your profile, whether they have an account on Archive of Our Own (AO3) or not. However, only your pseuds , the date you became a member of AO3 , and your user ID are included by default.

(going off of a previous post in this subreddit about anonymous fics) I was wondering, is it better to post fics anonymously or create an entirely new account if you wanna post darker stuff that you don't want linked back to your old account.
Mar 1, 2021 · Creating an account is free and easy, but it isn't immediate. To create an account, you have to request an invitation. There's no application, but AO3 uses an automated email service to send profile invitations. When you request an invitation, you're adding yourself to the list of other new users.
