Water fountains are located in and around the Welcome Center, near the JFK gravesite and at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier; the ANC Explorer app also identifies water fountain locations throughout the cemetery. The Welcome Center opens daily at 8:00 a.m. and closes at 5:00 p.m. year round.
The cemetery conducts between 27 and 30 funerals every weekday. The site is open to the public 365 days a year with free admission for those who wish to tour the site and pay their respects. Important sites at Arlington National Cemetery.

Visiting By Automobile: The cemetery is located on the Virginia side of the Potomac River, just across the Memorial Bridge from Washington, D.C.
Parking Facility Hours • Daily, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Open one hour after the cemetery closes.) The parking garage closes promptly at 6 p.m.
