Incredibly easy to refund audiobooks and get back credits spent. Authors narrating their own books & excellent audio quality. Adjustable narration speed, sleep timer, bookmarks and numerous reviews. Audible does not have ads. Listening time, badges, and stats. 4 reasons Audible is not worth it.
I had purchased over 185 audio books as of about six months ago (i have a screen shot of my Audible account from that time), and four purchased credits. At $15.00 a credit that is $2,775 in purchased. books and $60 in credits that they just WIPED OUT. Contacted customer support for HOURS of time over three DAYS.

Jan 30, 2024 · Audible is undeniably good value for money if you usually buy at least one audiobook per month. The Audible Plus subscription ($7.95 per month) unlocks thousands of audiobooks that can be listened to for free. At the same time, the Audible Premium Plus subscription ($14.95 per month) also unlocks those same audiobooks for free listening.

Oct 29, 2023 · In the hybrid plan, you pay $17 every other month (so essentially $8.50 per month, only 50 cents more than the Audible Plus plan). In exchange, you get access to the entire Audible Plus Catalog AND an audiobook credit every other month (as opposed to monthly). This is my favorite Audible plan, one that makes Audible absolutely worth it for me.
