August Werner Schellenberg (July 25, 1936 – August 15, 2013) was a Canadian actor. He played Randolph in the first three installments of the Free Willy film series (1993–1997) as well as characters in Black Robe (1991), The New World (2005), and dozens of other films and television shows.

Aug 19, 2013 · He moved to Toronto from Montréal in 1967 and relocated to Dallas, TX, in 1995 with his wife, actress Joan Karasevich, to be close to their daughter. In 2005, Schellenberg was one of five inaugural inductees at the Aboriginal Walk of Honour Awards in Edmonton.
Currently living in Dallas, he is married to actress Joan Karasevich and is the father of three daughters. When he’s not acting, August can be found working out, playing with his grandchildren, reading crime fiction, or enjoying music.
