It is a replica of the original Badrinath Temple located in the Garhwal Himalayas in Uttarakhand.

While the original Badrinath temple is open for only 4 months(May, June, September and October) every year, Badrinath temple in Hyderabad will be open throughout the year. The temple timings are 7 am to 1 pm and then from 3pm to 8pm daily.
