Feb 28, 2024 · Walking out onto the fishing pier is a must for the views of the beach and all of Balboa Peninsula and for watching sunsets. The path made up of Newport Balboa Bike Trail and Ocean Front Walk lines the back of the beach and connects Balboa Pier to Newport Pier almost two miles away.
