Her ex-husband, Samuel Booth Lewis, 56, was wounded by the guard during a shoot-out outside the bank, police reported. He is now in jail on a murder complaint arising from his ex-wife’s death.

Barbara Lewis, 56, and Samuel Lewis, 56, were both shot about 10 a.m. at MidFirst Bank, 2225 N May Ave. Police say the pair were husband and wife.
