When Lord Bartholomew Dupuy, Of Cabrielles was born in 1581, in Gard, Languedoc-Roussillon, France, his father, Pierre DuPuy, was 30 and his mother, Antoinette Bourasier, was 32. He had at least 2 sons with Marie Susanna Clement de LaRivière. He died in 1652, in Goochland, Virginia, British Colonial America, at the age of 71.
