Magnet Program Eligibility. Magnet Programs are open to qualified students throughout the state of Florida. All students entering grades K-12 may apply. Students must be five years old by September 1st to enter kindergarten. All students will demonstrate good conduct.
The online magnet application deadline was 1 p.m. on November 3, 2023. High School Assessment Guidelines are available. High School applicants should obtain a copy for the program(s) to which they are assessing.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to explore the District’s School Choice options by visiting browardschools.com/schoolchoice .
Dec 1, 2020 · Transportation is provided for out-of-boundary students admitted to the Magnet Programs if the family resides in Broward County. Transportation for in-boundary students is provided if families reside greater than 2 miles from school. Magnet activity buses are also available to out-of-boundary magnet students at 5:00 P.M.
