As you can imagine being a board game, the only thing that you will need is to purchase the Beat the Parents board game. The official setfrom game developers Spin Master includes everything that you will need to begin playing.
Kids and Adults are on opposing teams, so have the teams sit on opposite sides of the board. The game will have two sets of questions – a set for kids and a set for adults. Make sure these are well shuffled before starting. Teams will then need to put their game pieces on the designated starting positions.
Beat the Parents utilizes ‘Wild Cards’to liven up the gameplay with specific challenges for both kids and adults!
There’s not too much scorekeeping within the rules of Beat the Parents, aside from tallying up the number of victories. You may be able to add a competitive edge into teams by giving points out for each correct answer given per person to see who the MVP of the team is.
What age of kids are the questions in Beat the Parents appropriate for?
The official game recommends that children 6+ would be suitable so that would be a good reference point to start. The questions are so that children of at least school age should be able to answer some of the questions.

There aren’t any official extra packs of questions. If you find that you’re repeating questions set your kids a task of thinking of some questions themselves! You can still use the WildCards with the hilarious challenges so as long as you have fresh questions the game is very replayable.
