Beauty and the Beast is a classic fairy tale that was originally written by French novelist Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve in the early 18th century. It tells the story of a beautiful young woman named Beauty who is forced to live with a terrifying beast in order to save her father’s life.
