They typically make money off of recruiting. Als when they use the word sold and ordered synonymously. So when you see someone in an MLM get some reward bc their team “sold” $5k with of product. They didn’t. Their team ordered $5k worth of product. Or when someone moves up rank bc they “sold” $10k worth of products.
Yes, Beautycounter is an MLM. If you go to Beautycounter’s website and click on the sidebar and scroll down, there’s a link to a page called “Become a Consultant”. For those who had worked for one year, it reports that: 25% of Consultants earned nothing. 35% of Consultants earned over $500. 22% of Consultants earned over $1,000. 1% of Consultants earned over $30,000.
