    • 'Living' (2022) The film to finally earn Nighy his first Oscar nomination is a prophetic one. A remake of Akira Kurosawa's painful masterpiece Ikiru, which in turn was inspired by Tolstoy's The Death of Ivan Ilyich, Living alters the setting to 1950s London.
